Alex Mimms is the Manager of Technical Talent Acquisition at Toast, where she leads a team of 5 recruiters, and continues to help grow the R&D team. When Alex joined in 2016, the company was less than 200 people, and she was the sole technical recruiter. Over the last 3 1/2 years, she has helped the Product, Engineering and UX teams grow by more than 10x, with a special focus on inclusive recruiting.
When Alex isn’t seeking out the next addition to the Toast team, she’s hanging out with her dog, Petey, working on getting her private pilot’s license, or traveling to the next country on her lengthy “must see” list.
