Mindfulness Practices for Burnout Relief (HLC)

February 16 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Burnout—it’s what happens when inner resources are depleted, and no spark is present to start them up again. It’s no surprise this happens, given the collision of personal and professional demands—and the reality that the times when we least feel resilient are the very times when we most need to be. We will examine how mindfulness practice can lend us energy, while simultaneously allowing us to cultivate and sustain a sense of calm. We will investigate how to respond to challenges in a conscious, empowered way, instead of being swept away by habits that contribute to stress and reactivity.

This workshop is open to Harvard Longwood Campus staff, faculty, and post-docs.
