Transitioning from Summer to Fall: An Ayurvedic Approach

As the leaves start changing colors and the air gets light, crisp and fresh, the autumn breeze signals the shift of season. It is important to prepare the body for the cold months ahead, expelling the accumulated summer heat and nurturing the deep tissues that will sustain our energy through the winter. The appetite will rise and temperatures will drop, cooking with the appropriate ingredients and understanding our body’s need will be key to making sure we don’t subtly resist the impermanence of summer. In our time together we will break down ways to stay healthy and keep the light, positive summer energy flowing. You will be inspired to shift your routines and dietary habits to stay active and keep our digestive fire burning bright to boost our immune system.
