60–90-minute discussion groups for managers to discuss and share their experiences on a specific leadership topic. Each forum will have a different topic with a brief overview provided and then opened for discussion amongst those in attendance. Topic: Receiving Feedback as a Leader to Build Trust on Your Team As we head into the final phase of the performance management cycle, this session will provide a brief review of best practices for giving feedback, however, the session will focus on the skill and art of receiving feedback. A performance review is also a good time for managers to ask for feedback from their team members. Discuss techniques to remain open and non-defensive to feedback from colleagues and team members. Examine the role of trust and psychological safety on a team, and the value of creating a culture of open communication on your team.
