We all know the feeling, a pit in our stomach when we know we must have a difficult conversation. We know our jobs well, but how proficient do you feel when it comes to managing conflict well? When a conflict surfaces, we generally feel ill-equipped at best. At our worst, we may cause the situation to escalate and erode our relationships even further.
Based on the book Crucial Conversations, this workshop will provide practical and easy-to-implement skills for addressing conflict at work or in your personal life. Participants will learn the importance of managing emotions, preparing for difficult conversations, and maintaining healthy motives throughout the conflict. Lastly, we’ll look at your real-world examples and practice having these important conversations.
To encourage active engagement and foster a collaborative learning environment. There will be break-out groups during this session.
In the event you are unable to attend, please remember to cancel your registration on the Training Portal. This helps free up space for others and ensures efficient planning. Thank you for your cooperation!
