Zoom Virtual Webinar
One in four individuals is said to have a mental health condition, so chances are you know someone who is struggling. Most of us want to know how to support someone who may be dealing with a mental health issue, but it’s hard to know how to help.
This workshop, based on the principles of Mental Health First Aid, will provide the opportunity to learn about common mental health conditions and how you as a co-worker, friend or family member can support someone who may be struggling.
During this 90 minute workshop participants will develop the skills to Assess for risk, Listen non-judgmentally, Give reassurance and information, Encourage appropriate professional help, and Encourage self-help.
