Effectively Communicate Change (HLC, Managers Only)

Guest Presenter: Wynne Meyer, MA. LMHC, accomplished workplace consultant and certified coach joins us to discuss the challenges with managing change.

Change is inevitable in work and life. As the world shifts and workplaces adapt, individuals are constantly having to navigate this uncertainty. In this session, managers will understand the human needs within change and how to communicate effectively to ensure successful adoption of the change they are seeking. Explore the concept of change and review a change model to illustrate the possible effect it has on individuals and team members. Objectives include:

  • Discuss the influence of our perception including typical positive and negative reactions to change.
  • Review the five essential areas employees need to understand when you are trying to communicate change effectively.
  • Learn how to approach employees who might be defensive or resistant to change.
  • Discover overall best practice manager tips about communication during changing times
