Suicide Prevention (HLC)

Zoom Virtual Webinar

This program will open up a conversation about how we can prevent suicide and take care of ourselves and our community. Samaritans will break down some of the myths of suicide, the risk factors that can build up, the warning signs that we can look out for, and how to be more effective listeners to those who are struggling. There will also be information about the Samaritans’ helpline and ways we can build up our own resiliency. Samaritans has experience supporting people across the developmental spectrum and this workshop was developed by educators and clinicians and is line with best practices for suicide prevention.
