Wellbeing through Art (HLC)

September 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

In this workshop participants will be engaged in an
art-making process that will promote relaxation, positivity, and a sense of
calmness. The activity will result in the participants creating a “stained
glass window” effect by using tissue paper and Mod Podge on a glass jar. This
process connects the individual to light, a meditative state, and peace through
vibrant colors.  The participants will be actively ripping tissue paper
which will be applied to the glass jar with Mod Podge. This process is intended
to give them a sense of release and create a  soothing feeling. The end
product will illuminate their inner strength and the endless possibilities for
the future. No prior art experience is necessary. Registration is limited and
required. See the Wellbeing Through Art website for more info.
